Phase Two

Phase 2 of the construction: Cafeteria and Boarding Section for Girls and Boys. Through Emeth Junior School, Second Chance Children’s Ministry (SCCM) is partnering with a community to bring hope where there was once no hope.

Building a New Generation

Today, more than 200 children are attending Emeth Junior School—orphans and vulnerable children who once had no opportunities for education, nutritious meals, safety, and a caring community. Now, they have a place to learn, grow, worship, and discover that they are created in God’s image and loved by Him.

But the impact reaches beyond the classroom.

SCCM is also creating opportunities for single mothers and teen mothers through the Handiwork Project. Women are learning practical skills such as sewing, making mats, and creating baskets—skills they can use to earn an income, provide for their children, and move toward self-sustainability. Through these opportunities, families are gaining dignity, hope, and a pathway toward a better future.

And the greatest hope we offer is found in Jesus Christ. At Emeth, children are being taught God’s Word, encouraged in their faith, and reminded that they are created in God’s image and that’s their identity.

With Emeth Junior School serving more than 200 children, we are now stepping into Phase 2 of construction: the boarding section and cafeteria, which will ultimately serve up to 300 students. Children who are facing homelessness, physical and sexual abuse, childhood marriages, hunger and trafficking.
