Welcome!

At Second Chance Children’s Ministry we care for orphaned and vulnerable children and youth. We believe that every child is created in God’s image, revealing their identities in Christ will make generational changes.

SCCM is a nonprofit organization founded in 2023 in North Carolina. We are dedicated to reach, teach and equip impoverished orphans and vulnerable children through gospel. Our foundation began as a charity initiative, established due to the common desire of the founding members to pool resources to help with intervention mechanisms towards the needs of orphans and vulnerable children.

Orphans and vulnerable children are faced with a lot of challenges, when you look at any social issues: sex trafficking, homelessness, poverty, educational inequality, childhood marriages, unemployment and school-to-prison. Vulnerable children are more likely to be affected by these social issues. We can be the hope they desperately need. God has called us to go to the deep villages of Uganda to serve His people, to be His hands and feet.

Reach

We are called to reach the forgotten orphans in Uganda. With the largest youth population on Earth, 60% of Uganda’s population are minors, and 15% of them are orphans.

Teach

We provide orphan children with the opportunity to get an education. We believe that teaching them their true identity in Jesus Christ will change their lives and generations to come. (Jeremiah 1:5, Ephesians 1:5).

Equip

We equip through Handiwork Project programs like farming, sewing, weaving, and baking. Teen moms and students are given the tools to help them become self-sufficient.

Partner with us to change generations to come.
